Розвиток вищої освіти Одещини в умовах сьогодення: у Міжнародному університеті відбулася стратегічна нарада та обрано Голову Ради ректорів регіону / Higher Education in Odesa Region: Strategic Meeting & New Head of Rectors' Council Elected
10 липня 2026 року Міжнародний університет став головним майданчиком для обговорення майбутнього української вищої освіти. У стінах університету відбулася масштабна нарада, яка об’єднала керівників провідних закладів вищої освіти Одещини та представників органів державної влади.
Головною темою професійного діалогу став стратегічний розвиток системи вищої освіти в Україні та Одеському регіоні в умовах воєнного стану. Учасники наради приділили особливу увагу забезпеченню стабільного й безпечного освітнього процесу, підтримці університетів на прифронтових територіях, впровадженню цифрових трансформацій та інноваційних технологій навчання.
Присутні наголосили, що збереження інтелектуального потенціалу Півдня України та якісна підготовка молоді є критично важливими завданнями для держави та майбутньої відбудови країни. У межах засідання було детально розглянуто організаційні засади діяльності Спілки ректорів закладів вищої освіти України та Ради ректорів Одеського регіону.
З ключовими доповідями, присвяченими законодавчим ініціативам, антикорупційній політиці в освіті та інституційній підтримці вишів, виступили представники органів державної влади та освітянської спільноти: Юлія Гришина — народний депутат України, голова підкомітету з питань вищої освіти Комітету Верховної Ради України з питань освіти, науки та інновацій; Михайло Ананченко — народний депутат України, член Комітету Верховної Ради України з питань антикорупційної політики; Петро Куліков — голова громадської організації «Спілка ректорів закладів вищої освіти України».
Також участь у роботі наради та обговоренні ключових питань розвитку освіти регіону взяли почесні гості: Олександр Керсанов — в.о. начальника відділу професійної та вищої освіти управління освіти та молодіжної політики Департаменту освіти і науки Одеської обласної державної адміністрації, а також Любов Корнійчук — голова Одеської обласної організації Профспілки працівників освіти і науки України.
Важливою подією наради став розгляд питання щодо обрання керівництва регіонального об'єднання вишів. За результатами обговорення та голосування, Головою Ради ректорів Одеського регіону було обрано ректора Міжнародного університету, професора, Заслуженого юриста України Костянтина Вікторовича Громовенка.
Це рішення відкриває новий етап для консолідації науково-педагогічної спільноти Одещини. Діяльність Ради під новим керівництвом буде спрямована на посилення інтеграції вишів у міжнародний освітній простір, активізацію академічної мобільності, масштабну цифровізацію університетів та зміцнення стратегічного партнерства між закладами освіти, державними інституціями та реальним сектором бізнесу.
Консолідація зусиль лідерів освіти, профспілкових організацій та органів влади є надійною запорукою створення якісного, сучасного та конкурентоспроможного освітнього середовища в Україні.

On July 10, 2026, the International University became the main platform for discussing the future of Ukrainian higher education. A large-scale meeting was held within the walls of the university, which brought together the heads of leading higher education institutions of the Odesa region and representatives of state authorities.
The main topic of the professional dialogue was the strategic development of the higher education system in Ukraine and the Odesa region under martial law. The participants of the meeting paid special attention to ensuring a stable and safe educational process, supporting universities in front-line territories, implementing digital transformations and innovative learning technologies.
Those present emphasized that preserving the intellectual potential of Southern Ukraine and high-quality training of young people are critically important tasks for the state and the future reconstruction of the country. The meeting considered in detail the organizational principles of the activities of the Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine and the Council of Rectors of the Odesa Region.
Key reports on legislative initiatives, anti-corruption policy in education and institutional support for universities were delivered by representatives of state authorities and the educational community: Yulia Hryshyna, People's Deputy of Ukraine, Chair of the Subcommittee on Higher Education of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Education, Science and Innovation; Mykhailo Ananchenko, People's Deputy of Ukraine, Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Anti-Corruption Policy; Petro Kulikov, Head of the public organization "Union of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine".
The following honored guests also took part in the meeting and discussed key issues of education development in the region: Oleksandr Kersanov, Acting Head of the Department of Professional and Higher Education of the Education and Youth Policy Department of the Department of Education and Science of the Odessa Regional State Administration, as well as Lyubov Korniychuk, Head of the Odesa Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine.
An important event of the meeting was the consideration of the issue of electing the leadership of the regional association of universities. According to the results of the discussion and voting, the rector of the International University, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Kostiantyn Viktorovych Hromovenko, was elected Chairman of the Council of Rectors of the Odesa Region.
This decision opens a new stage for the consolidation of the scientific and pedagogical community of the Odesa region. The activities of the Council under the new leadership will be aimed at strengthening the integration of universities into the international educational space, activating academic mobility, large-scale digitalization of universities and strengthening the strategic partnership between educational institutions, state institutions and the real business sector.
Consolidation of the efforts of education leaders, trade union organizations and government bodies is a reliable guarantee of creating a high-quality, modern and competitive educational environment in Ukraine.
