Здобувачі Міжнародного університету долучилися до проєкту «Захисники Півдня» / International University students joined the "Defenders of the South" project
22 травня в Одесі здобувачі кафедри кіно і телебачення факультету дизайну, архітектури та мистецтв Міжнародного університету долучилися до презентації документального проєкту «Захисники Півдня», створеного командою Суспільне Херсон. Захід відбувся на базі Хабу Академії Суспільного телебачення і об’єднав професіоналів медіасфери, всіх, хто цікавиться сучасним документальним кіно і розповідями про стійкість українців під час війни.
На початку зустрічі продюсерка філії «Суспільне Одеса» Олена Кваша разом із менеджером Одеської філії UA: Суспільне мовлення Назарієм Максимчуком привітали учасників і гостей заходу.
На презентації було показано три перші серії проєкту підготовленого тележурналістами Оленою Мовчан та Яною Самко. Глядачі переглянули історії про Ірину Костінюк, керівницю громадської організації «Об’єднані любов’ю до дітей», військову медикиню з позивним «Квітка» та серію під назвою «Талісман: війна і поезія».
Подібні заходи є ключовими для розвитку професійних компетенцій майбутніх фахівців кіно і телебачення. Вони сприяють знайомству з сучасними документальними форматами, формуванню контактів у медійній сфері та усвідомленню значущості висвітлення важливих суспільних подій.
Реалізація цього проєкту стала можливою завдяки співпраці Національної суспільної телерадіокомпанії України («Суспільне Мовлення») та громадської організації International Media Support (IMS) у рамках програми «Фонду доброчесності медіа».

On May 22 in Odesa, graduates of the Department of Film and Television of the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Arts of the International University joined the presentation of the documentary project “Defenders of the South”, created by the Suspilne Kherson team. The event was held at the Hub of the Academy of Public Television and brought together media professionals, everyone who is interested in modern documentary film and stories about the resilience of Ukrainians during the war.
At the beginning of the meeting, Olena Kvasha, producer of the Suspilne Odesa branch, together with Nazariy Maksymchuk, manager of the Odesa branch of UA: Suspilne, welcomed the participants and guests of the event.
The presentation showed the first three episodes of the project prepared by TV journalists Olena Movchan and Yana Samko. Viewers watched stories about Iryna Kostinyuk, the head of the public organization “United by Love for Children”, a military medic with the call sign “Flower”, and a series called “Talisman: War and Poetry”.
Such events are key to developing the professional competencies of future film and television professionals. They help to get acquainted with modern documentary formats, form contacts in the media sphere, and realize the importance of covering important social events.
The implementation of this project was made possible thanks to the cooperation of the National Public Television and Radio Company of Ukraine (“Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine”) and the public organization International Media Support (IMS) within the framework of the “Media Integrity Fund” program.
