On September 1, 2005, the university library opened its doors to faculty and students.

The initial collection consisted of 3,000 books. Currently, the library's collection is universal in content and consists of textbooks, manuals, monographs, reference books, brochures, periodicals, dissertations, and abstracts. The total number of descriptions is 685,408.

In addition, teachers and students of higher education at the Academy have access to the scientometric databases Scopus, Scholar (Google Academy), Mendeley, Research Gate, Academia.edu, ResearcherID, Selected Works, Digital Commons Network, and ORCID, based on the Academy-University Agreement.

The library's reading room has a publicly accessible information retrieval system: “lib.onua.edu.ua” (electronic catalog).

Today, the library is the university's information center, playing an important role in educational, pedagogical, scientific, and cultural processes.

The strategic goal of the library is to provide maximum access to both its own resources and global information resources. Much remains to be done in the near future to ensure that the library meets the requirements of the 21st century – the century of the information society.
