The International University hosted the annual reporting conference of the Council of Young Scientists.
On December 18, 2021, the International University held (in both online and offline formats) the annual reporting conference of the members of the Council of Young Scientists of the International University. Vladislav Kopytkov, chair of the Council and lecturer at the Department of State and Legal Disciplines of the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Cybersecurity, presented a report on the activities of the Council of Young Scientists of Moscow State University in 2021 to the Council members. He noted that over the course of the year, the Council had organized many interesting events for young scientists, involving speakers from top universities around the world (USA, Australia, etc.), several memoranda of cooperation with scientific institutions at the regional and national levels were signed, and cooperation was initiated with the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Council of Young Scientists at the Odesa State Academy of Economics. The Council also cooperates fruitfully with the postgraduate department, the center for scientific competencies and academic writing of the International University. The Council of Young Scientists of the International University is developing dynamically, new members are constantly joining its ranks, and despite the results already achieved, the Council sets even more ambitious goals and tasks for the future.
The Council of Young Scientists of the International University would like to express its gratitude to the University's management for their comprehensive support and wish all young scientists of the International University health, happiness, creative inspiration, strength, and great achievements in scientific and research activities in the coming 2022!
The Council of Young Scientists of MU held a webinar for master's and doctoral students with the participation of scientist and research engineer Vera Koshkina (RMIT, Melbourne / Deep Render, London).
On May 13, 2021, the Council of Young Scientists of the International University held an educational and introductory webinar for master's and doctoral students with the participation of scientist and research engineer Vira Koshkina.
Vira Koshkina is our compatriot,
who graduated with a bachelor's degree from I. I. Mechnikov University (Odessa), then enrolled and completed a master's degree at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia, and in 2019 defended her dissertation there and received her Ph.D. She currently lives in England and works as a research engineer at Deep Render, a top-level startup based in London that collaborates with Imperial College London to develop the most advanced technologies of the future.
The speaker told the participants about the features and conditions of admission to master's and doctoral programs at Australian universities. She shared her own experience in conducting scientific work and defending her dissertation. The presentation was followed by an interesting question-and-answer discussion. Sergey Levchenko, a doctoral student in the Department of Management, asked questions about mental health and psychological support for students and teachers at Australian universities. There were also interesting questions from Ksenia Marakhovskaya, a doctoral student in the Department of Art History and Humanities.
